This is pretty much another update, but the main topic is I'M A TEENAGER!!!!!!!!!! my birthday was this past tuesday. I now have contacts, make up, and ... a room under construction. What I mean by that is I have a room that is currently being remodeled. TEENAGERS ARE BEAST!!!!!!!!!!

CHRISTMAS IS ON THURSDAY!!!! FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!

Twilight!!!

Oh my cousin Josh, TWILIGHT IS IN THEATRES!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually got to go to the premire.

Not the one in LA, just the midnight showing, although that would've been cool...

So anyways, after a stressful day of school, the day after I had been sick, I came home from the orthodontist, my teeth insanely hurting, And did homework. Then I went up to my old elementary school and helped out with the bookfair they were having. I got to see my good friend Victoria for the first time in months. We each got $10 worth of items, and then we went to TGI Fridays (on a thursday night :D). Me and Victoria went to the bathroom so that I could get the rubber bands out of my mouth, and we came back to see Team Edward Buttons, bookmarks, and an apple in our places. We were confused, but we soon got the idea that we were going to see twilight opening night. We screamed for 10 minutes while calling our best friends, telling them the good news. After we calmed down, we went inside and put on our pins. We then went straight to AMC theatres at 10 o'clock (2 hours and 1 minute til it started. There was already a line going through the theatre. We sat down in the shortest line and waited. Right about this time, I was thinking about how I had been counting down to the showing all day long. (Magor Fan) Then we went into the theatre and waited another hour. We watched commecials like 2 times each, and then, we didn't have to wait anymore. It started!!!! The movie was amazing- very true to the book. I ended up getting 3 hours of sleep *yawns* and I get to see it again tonight!!!!!! (and possibly on monday...)

I know you may not like the book and my fellow fan girls...

But....

THIS MOVIE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Solo and Ensemble

On saturday, I had my solo and ensemble contest. I wore a black and red dress and high heels. Once I got to my school I ran inside and went directly into the room. My song, Wayfaring Stranger, wasn't hard and wasn't long. So I said my name, the title of the song, and the songs composer. Then I sang. I did my best. She critiqued me, and then I was done. Today we found our scores. 1 was the best and 5 was the worst you could get. I got a one!!!!! I got a shiney medal, too!!!

Dynamo!!!!

Okaly Dokaly. First I want to say that today we got off of school early because the power went out....reason unknown... So yeah...

The Soccer Game!!!

OMCAEC!!! (Oh My Carlisle And Edward Cullen) The Dynamo scored 3 goals in the first half of the game against the LA Galaxy(David Beckham's team). If you don't know who Beckham is, well, lets just say he is an amazing player who got payed a gazillion dollars to come and play in the US. So,yeah, we won.

But thats not all!!!

We had suites!!! Free FOOD!!! FREE DRINKS!!!!! FREE SCARVES!!!! FREE EVERYTHING!!!! During half time, The United States Marine Corp Silent Drill Platoon (Gaw, thats a mouthful!) Performed. They were great. Afterwards, they came and sa in our suite. My brother and some other boys were making paper air plains and throwing them out the window, and the Marines joined in!!! It was hillarious to see the boys throw the planes furthur than the marines!!! All in all a great game!!!

Update on Ike

Ike is coming tonight!!! We have no school. Our windows are boarded up. We are prepared. Soon we will shut down all electronics. I wonder how hard it is to sleep through a hurricane. =D

Come On, Hurricane Ike!!!

Okay, as you know, hurricane Ike is now in the Gulf of Mexico. It is projected to hit the Houston/ Galveston area. If the meteorologists' Ideas are confirmed, then many school districts will be let out for evacuation. NO SCHOOL!!! I know it's not good that a hurricane is coming, but no school is just AWESOME!!! Right now, Ike is over Cuba and is heading into the Caribbean. I will update my blog if I get any further news. Post later!!!

Update on School

Hey guys. I've been at school for 2 weeks already and I am having a BLAST!! It turns out that my choir class gets to sing the national anthem at a Rockets game!!! Can you believe it? I love all of my teachers and I even get to see most of my friends. Well, gotta go!! Until next time-This is seventh grader Jasmine Geo!

The Door Within

Hello!!! So I'm getting off of videos for a while and I'm going to review one of my absolute FAVORITE books- the Door Within. Wayne Thomas Batson did an excellent job in writing these books. I love these books and have read them over and over again. Aidan Thomas is the main character who has moved half way across the country to live with his grandfather in need of assistance. When he is exploring the basement, he hears some strange noises and sees blue sparks. He then finds scrolls that tell about a place known only as The Realm. He also learns of the Kingdom of Alleble where King Eliam lives and rules all those faithful to Him. But the first sentinel, Paragal, grows jealous and soon betrays the King. The King is killed along with the entire Elder Guard. The King is resurrected and sends Paragal (now Paragor) into a new land in which he will rule and call Paragory. After reading the scrolls, Aidan finds a poem, inviting him into the Realm. With a little help from his grandfather, he gets there and makes friends with Glimpses such as Gwenne, Nock, Bolt, Kaliam, and many others. He then becomes the Twelfth Knight in an important mission. Will Aidan get back to the real world? Will he fulfill his mission? You'll have to read it all in the Door Within. I recommend these books to all who love fantasy books. Never Alone!!!

Praise for Wicked

If your ever looking for a musical to see, I highly recommend Wicked. Wicked is the story behind the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz. Why was she green? What made her seem wicked? How did she come to have flying monkeys as pets? How was her sister, the Wicked Witch of the East, evil? All of thesequstions are answered in the new musical. I love the music, story, characters, and actors provided by Wicked. This musical is a must see and it is AWESOME!!!

Breaking Dawn- It's almost here!!!!!!

Okay, blog veiwers, Even though some of you have no interest in the Twilight saga *stares at natasha* I have to put at least one post about Stephenie Meyer's new, upcoming book- Breaking Dawn. Along with millions of other readers, I am in love with these books and cannot wait too read the conclusion, and will so be at the opening party at Borders a week from today. For those who haven't read the series here is what it's about- Vampires. It's a romance story about a human, Bella Swan, and A vampire, Edward Cullen. Bella goes to live with her dad in the small town of Forks. When she goes to school, she encounters gorgeous Edward Cullen, who is pale and as cold as ice. And in someway, he thirsts for her blood. When a Quillette boy, Jacob Black, Tells Bella an old legend, she quikly learns the truth- The Cullens are vampires. But not the normal coffin sleeping, bat, Count Dracula vampires, they are "vegitarian" vamps. They only hunt animals. So when bad vamps come through a Cullen family baseball game, they find Bella's blood quite alluring. And soon Bella is running for her life. And thats just in Twilight. I can't wait to see what Stephenie Meyer has up her sleeves for Book 4!!! Oh, I almost forgot, another thing many are itching to see is the movie made from twilight. Hang on Twilight lovers! Breaking dawn is almost here!!!!

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Hey Guys! A few days ago, I went to see the movie, Journey to the Center of the Earth, starring Brendan Fraser. It was a great movie based on the book by Jules Vern. Scientist Trevor Anderson and his nephew, Sean, go to Iceland due to seismic activity and also to find Trevor's brother who went missing ten years earlier. They hire a mountain guide, Hannah, to take them up a mountain to check a unit there, but they are caught in an electrical storm. During the storm, they are trapped in an old mine. They find that the mine is filled with diamonds and other gemstones, but the ground beneath them is too thin to stand on. when the rock breaks, they fall for miles and into this water slide-like tunnel. The group encounters extinct, glowing birds, man-eating plants, gigantic piranhas, dinosaurs, and the body of Sean's dad. They have to find a way to escape before the Center heats up and they all die from it. This action packed movie is a must see this summer and I highly recommend it.

OK. If anybody doesn't know who Ben Barnes is, I don't know what planet they are from, he is the guy who plays prince caspian. He IS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you Ben!!!!! =D

Camp

Hello!! So last week I went to Pine Cove ( An AWESOME Christian Camp) , and had a life changing experience. On the first day, as we drove up, all the counselors were jumping up and down going crazy. I had begun to feel a little nervous. But once I got to my cabin, which was named Cheyenne 4, I met people that were as crazy as I was. My counselor, Fizney, was so awesome. That night the whole cluster of Cheyenne went to the middle of the forest and ate s'mores. *YUM*


The next day our cabin had bonded so well that we were the first cabin to win the spirit stick. After Breakfast we had bible study. It was cool learning about things from thousands of years ago. That day, we got our activity class schedules For me, that day, I had Sailing, then Horseback riding. After those two activity classes we had lunch which was the best meal of the day. There was always a hilarious skit where an evil bandito pied someone in the face. =D after that we had F.O.B.- Flat on Back. This was a time when we received mail. I was luck enough to get mail everyday. After Fob, we had our next classes. Mine were Archery and Pamper pole. Let me tell you, it's not as easy as it looks. First you have to get a harness on and climb a 20 foot tall wooden pole. if you make it to the top you then have to turn around and get onto the top that gets really shaky. standing up is the hardest part. After you succeed at doing that, you have to have the courage to jump off. I learned while doing that to trust that God will not let you fall. It's scary, but fun. Then its time for the most fun time of the day- FREE TIME!!!! You can go to the pool, buy something at the store, or even get a snack. That day I decided to get a diet coke and head to the pool. Half way through free time, though, I decided to dry off and go to the store. I bought a hat. After that I waited for Fizney to come for our one-on-one. That was fun. Too Soon Free time was over. Time to get all Perty for Redneck Reunion. Mom sent some fake Buckteeth to wear but they were too hard to talk in. After dinner, we got to run around and play some really fun games like tug o' war, bobbing for apples, and sumo wrestling! After that we had worship club which was so much fun. We had a talk after each club and then it was time to take a shower and go to sleep.


The next day we got ready for Pit and Palace. That is basically cleaning our cabin. We went to Breakfast and went about our normal routine. after fob I went to Archery again but then after that I went to the zip line. soon it was time for free time and I got another diet coke and headed to the pool. I went off the blob and the trapeze which were both awesome. I had to leave the pool 15 minutes early for the seventh grade trip to the Timbers where I will go next year. We ate Pizza and went Banana Boating.Wiping out was awesome. After that we just played around for a while. Then we had our out door worship. then we took our showers and went to bed.



We woke up and went around like usual but the Bandito stole the spirit stick. Evil Right? I started Pool Games and I did the climbing wall. I couldn't make it to the top though. then I had sailing again. After free time and another diet coke, it was time for The Duct Tape Dance. That was probably my favorite theme night. The girls got to stay up later than the boys that night and eat candy.

Everything went as usual. During Free time I went to g help out at the barn which was a lot of fun. Then it was time for commando. we had fireworks so we had to postpone the Game of Commando until Friday. Grrr. Oh well we got more time to take showers.

Friday. The last full day of camp. The Covie Awards. Cheyenne won the Cluster Sword. I let out the horses for the last time. I had fallen in love with this horse named Timber. He was so sweet and fast. I got to wear my green dress and Win the game of Commando. That's right. Campers always Win!!!

On Saturday I had to say good bye to all the friends I had made, good bye to all of the horses, good bye to the counselors, Good Bye to the Pine Cove Ranch. This Camp taught me many things but above all, to trust that God has a plan for all of us and that we should trust Him and go to Him in our times of despair.
